Leaders have not been trained in anti-bullying or anti-discrimination. They are dividing the world for financial gain and not being subject to consequences to learn empathy. If people do not feel what they subject others to they continue to see objects and nothing wrong in their behaviour.
Jane Elliott was a Southern educator in the United States who brought in experiential teaching. She asks the children questions. She divided them on the basis of brown eyes or blue eyes which is a metaphor for colour prejudice,, but you can put any discrimination in there – could be muslim, could be poverty, could be female, could be non-vaxed. All the same iissue where divisions are amplified by authority and one group pitched against another.
She is an excellent teacher, not she asks questions doesn’t tell them how to think, that is the key feature of a great teacher.
Brotherhood is another prejudice as half the population is not male. This is one of the biggest prejudices known to humanity. The female is not a he, yet the language is masculine. So they come to accept the language but deep within don’t identify. We change this by referring to sisterhood and brotherhood or we are sisters and brothers, not the order. It is very subtle prejudice.
